Sonic the Hedgehog publisher SEGA has revealed that it has a number of remakes and remasters of its classic IPs planned to launch by the end of March 2023.
The company revealed the news in a presentation during its latest financial results, where it forecast higher sales for FY2023, which it attributes to a “signifiant increase in titles” and continued revenue from the “large number of new titles” that have launched during the last financial year.
These include titles such as “remake/remaster, spin-off [or] change of theme,” something which SEGA is “planning multiple titles” for going forward into FY2023. We already know that Sonic Origins is one of these titles, and there’s also a The House of the Dead 2 Remake in the pipeline, too.

The news comes following rumours that SEGA is working on a reviving the Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio franchises, although those are unlikely to be released during FY2023 as they are reportedly early in development.
