Take-Two announced during its latest financial results overnight that Red Dead Redemption 2 has sold-in 44 million units worldwide, with one million units sold during the period December 2021 – March 2022.
In addition, the publisher revealed that Rockstar Games’ epic cowboy romp is the second best-selling title in North America in the past five years based on dollar sales. Meanwhile, the Red Dead franchise as a whole has now moved 67 million units worldwide.

Red Dead Redemption 2 was released for PS4 and Xbox One in October 2018, and serves as a prequel to the original Red Dead Redemption in 2010. You can read our full review of the game here.
There have been murmurs over the past year or so that Rockstar Games is looking to remaster Red Dead Redemption, although nothing official has ever been announced. However, with Grand Theft Auto Trilogy – The Definitive Edition out now, anything is possible.
