Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed that existing PS Plus members will easily be able to upgrade to a higher tier for the new service launching this summer, simply by paying the difference.
The news comes via a new email sent out by Sony to PS Plus subscribers, which confirms that anyone interested in upgrading to the higher tiers for PS Plus will be able to do so without much effort.
Rest assured that your subscription fee will not increase and your payment dates will not change when the new service launches, unless you choose to make any changes yourself to your subscription plan or payment frequency.

You can easily upgrade to a higher benefits plan at any time. To do so, you’ll need to pay the difference between your current plan and your new plan, adjusted for the remaining time of your subscription.
Sony confirmed last week that the new PS Plus will roll out in the US on June 13 and in Europe on June 22.
