After the announcement that Bloober Team and Konami would be working together, speculation rose as to what exactly they could be working together on, and whispers began that at least one of the projects Bloober Team would be working on with Konami would be Silent Hill related, though the Polish studio seems to have put those rumors to an end.
Speaking to website GameInformer, Bloober Team was reportedly quick to deny the Silent Hill rumors, though GameInformer does point out that their wording was specific in being about the concepts leaked, not that a Silent Hill game in development didn’t exist.
That wasn’t the only report, when website IGN tweeted out that Bloober Team had in fact told them that the projects fans were pointing towards as potential Silent Hill projects have been shelved in favor of new games.
Though it might be disheartening to hear that there is in fact not a Silent Hill game we can point to that has been officially announced, though this news may come as a relief to some fans, who were weary as to how well the franchise would be handled by the studio.
