Ubisoft is still beavering away on Skull & Bones, the pirate adventure inspired by Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, and we now have some new gameplay too sink our teeth into that’s leaked online.
The video, which is from a technical test for the game, explains that Skull & Bones is set in a world inspired by the Golden Age of Piracy, which is the same setting for Black Flag. Your goal is simple: become the most feared pirate to sail the seas, starting out as an underdog and working your way up to infamy.

You’ll be able to earn infamy by taking on contacts via NPCs in the world, completing activities, plundering, and world events.

Skull & Bones is in development for PS5, PS4 PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One, with a release date yet to be announced. However, back in February, Ubisoft said that the game is on track to launch in its next fiscal year.
