Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown Release Delayed Into 2023, Is No Longer Coming To PS4

NACON has announce that Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown has been pushed into 2023, and what’s more, the game will no longer be coming to PS4 and Xbox One. Instead, the upcoming racer will only launch for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.

Speaking in a blog post today, the company said that the “goal with Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is to make the most polished gaming experience in the franchise by spending more time on its development.” Apparently, this also means ditching the last-generation versions of the game.

Finally, with the aim of making the most of the technology in the latest consoles and maximising the overall quality of the game, Nacon has decided to no longer develop Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Elsewhere, the publisher revealed that it is planning schedules for numerous Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown closed betas, which will allow the team “to gather your valuable feedback so we can keep improving the game’s quality until it releases, while also staying in more regular contact with you.”

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is now due to launch in 2023 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
