Activision Blizzard Microsoft News PlayStation Plus Sony Xbox Game Pass

46% Of PlayStation & Nintendo Owners In The US Would Consider Xbox Game Pass If It Added Activision Games

YouGov has conducted a survey that has found 46% of PlayStation and Nintendo gamers in North America would consider signing up for Xbox Game Pass if it includes major titles from Activision Blizzard.

The survey polled 1,200 adults in the US and UK back in January, which also found that the addition of Activision titles in Xbox Game Pass would appeal to 43% Xbox gamers, 42% of PC players, and 27% of smartphone users. Meanwhile, 29% of UK PlayStation gamers said they would sign up for the service with the inclusion of Activision Blizzard games, behind 48% of Xbox gamers.

Microsoft announced back in January this year that is set to acquire the publishing behemoth for an industry-shattering $68.7 billion, bringing the likes of Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, Crash Bandicoot, and other major franchises under its belt.

Meanwhile, Sony announced its own answer to Xbox Game Pass with a new PlayStation Plus service that rolls out in June, bringing a three-tier subscription model that includes PlayStation Now and a selection of retro games spanning PS1, PS2, PS3, and PSP.
