The studio behind critically-acclaimed PS5 title Returnal has revealed during a chat with Eurogamer that it’s hopeful the game will find a larger audience via PlayStation Plus.
Chatting at the BAFTAs, Ilari Kuittinen, the Managing Director at Housemarque, said it was “brilliant” that Returnal will be included in Sony’s newly-revamped PS Plus service, which launches in June with a three-tier membership option.
As you know, it’s been a while since the release. And we know the people who get into [subscriptions] play a lot. Sony does [make] some wise decisions, like funding this game. They started to fund this game five years ago, they took a leap of faith.
In case you missed it, Housemarque has reason to crack open the champagne this weekend, as Returnal picked up the gong for Best Game at the BAFTAs.
