34BigThings and Saber Interactive have super-glued a May 26 release date to Redout 2, confirming the futuristic racing sequel will launch for PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
Redout 2 features 36 tracks and multiple game modes, including a dedicated single-player campaign and competitive online multilayer for up to 12 players cross PC, PlayStation, and Xbox formats. If you’re feeling creative, you can also customise your hovership with a variety of options, while all tracks in the game can also be played in reverse for challenge seekers.
Featuring an initiative driving system, Redout 2 sees players reaching blistering speeds of over 1,000km/h, with races set to a pulse-pounding soundtrack featuring the likes of Giorgio Moroder, Zardonic, and Dance with the Dead. Oh, and there’s also a Photo Mode so you can capture your best high-speed accomplishments.
