Techland has announced that it has postponed the release of its Dying Light 2 story DLC until September 2022, revealing it needs a little more time to work on the expansion.
However, players will still have plenty of new content to tuck into, as Dying Light will receive its In the Footsteps of a Nightrunner Chapter next month. Here’s what Techland has to say on Twitter regarding the game’s roadmap:
Dear Pilgrims, your feedback always has the highest priority for us, and we want to be honest and transparent with you. We will still need a bit more time to develop the first story DLC. It is now planned to be released in September.
However, in June, we will introduce the first game Chapter entitled “In the Footsteps of a Nightrunner,” filled with content and events, as well as the highly anticipated photo mode, so stay tuned for more action in The City!
