Hekate Nacon Nacon Connect PS5

New PS5 Horror Ad Infinitum Was Announced Six Years Ago – Check Out Some Gameplay From 2017

Ad Infinitum is a new horror game set during World War I, and it’ll be coming to PS5 in 2023, though the only thing is that it’s not entirely new. The game was originally announced all the way back in 2015, and has been put in the care of multiple teams, but before things went silent we got a look at some gameplay back in 2017.

The gameplay shown is pre-alpha footage, and it was scheduled to be releasing in 2019 at the time. By this point, Hekate, the studio currently developing Ad Infinitum had taken over from Strixlab, who have since shut down.

You can watch the pre-alpha gameplay footage for Ad Infinitum, then scheduled to release for the PS4 here:

The footage showcases an eerie and dangerous atmosphere, that would have been impressive even at the time of release. Though now considering the developers will have PS5 hardware to work with, if this footage is still representative of the core game Hekate is making, Ad Infinitum will no doubt be an intriguing and terrifying game.

Ad Infinitum is currently set to release in 2023 on PS5, and was re-revealed today (July 6) during the Nacon Connect showcase. Check out all the details on the announcement for yourself here.
