In a blog post from the developers Rabbit & Bear Studios, the companion game will be a town-creation RPG which would release before Eiyuden Chronicle and feature a variety of lifestyle “mini-games” allowing players to gather a variety of materials to build up their house, farm and town. These materials would then be transferable to the main game when it launches to provide a head-start in crafting items, armor, and more.
The game is anticipating a release on PS5 and PS4 in 2022.
