However, while full Cross- Play is not part of the package, folk are asking if Dying Light 2 Cross-Gen Play available.

Dying Light 2 – Is PS4 & PS5 Cross-Play Available?
Currently Dying Light 2 does not support the ability for Cross-Play between PS4 and PS5 players. In other words, you’re limited to playing with players on the same platform as you. However, the Techland has said that it aims to bring Cross-Gen Play to the game in the future.
As for Cross-Play, i.e playing with players on other formats entirely (such as PS5 and Xbox Series X), that’s still undecided.
