[UPDATE] The PlayStation Plus February games have been revealed

It’s that time of the month where we start to think about the upcoming free PlayStation Plus games for subscribers in February 2017!

The official list has yet to be confirmed by Sony, and our predictions and rumors for PS Plus in December weren’t entirely accurate, but the festive period did see a handful of decent games, including Stories: Path of Destinies, Invisible, Inc. and Hyper Void.

We’ve put our heads together, and here are our predictions for PlayStation Plus February 2017 line-up of free PS4 games.

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China
Ubisoft’s bite-sized platforming spin-off to its flagship Assassin’s Creed series is perfect fodder for PlayStation Plus. By releasing the first in the series of three side-scrolling games, players may bite and purchase the other two games which are set in India and Russia. Despite receiving mediocre reviews for the trilogy, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles is great fun in short bursts.

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
PS Plus subscribers have enjoyed LEGO Batman: The Videogame, LEGO Lord of the Rings, LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes and LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7 for free, but there hasn’t been a LEGO title on PlayStation Plus for well over two years. It’s time then that Warner Bros dished out the final game in the LEGO Batman series! Even If LEGO Batman 3 doesn’t arrive in February, we’re certain it will arrive at some point.

Gravity Rush Remastered
We predicted Gravity Rush Remastered for January’s PlayStation Plus games, but in hindsight it may have taken the shine away from the release of Gravity Rush 2. The original Gravity Rush has already appeared on PS Plus, and February would be a much better option for the gravity-defying action adventure, giving those who haven’t experienced the series on PS4 the chance to find out what all the fuss is about.

Alienation
Housemarque’s PS4 exclusive twin-stick shooter would be a great addition to the PS Plus February games list. Receiving excellent review scores across the board, critics praised its fast pace, excellent RPG mechanics and addictive loot system. Fingers crossed this one arrives!

Shadow Complex Remastered
PlayStation Plus is no stranger to remasters, and Shadow Complex is one such game that was given a visual overhaul in May 2016. We wouldn’t be surprised in the least to see this fun title hit PS Plus in February.

Stay tuned for the official announcement for PlayStation Plus February 2017. Games are expected to be available to download from the PlayStation Network (PSN) the first week of February.
