Amazon UK has posted the first screenshots of Alan Wake Remastered, along with a price point of £24.99. The December 31, 2021 release date is obviously just a placeholder, as we know the game is out before this winter.
First up, feast your eyes on the screenshots below. As you can see, the remaster is looking pretty sumptuous, with high resolution textures and more detailed character models being the most noticeable changes to the classic horror title.

Finally, here’s a shot of the PS4 box which confirms there will be an upgrade to the PS5 version:
Alan Wake Remastered is pencilled in for a fall 2021 launch on PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. The original version of the game, which was developed by Remedy, came out on Xbox 360 in 2010 and PC two years later.
Remedy and Epic Games are currently collaborating on a new project, which has just entered full production. There’s been many rumors claiming that this is actually Alan Wake 2, which will no doubt please fans who’ve been clamouring for a proper follow-up for the past decade.
