Little Nightmares 2 has been spruced up for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in the shape of Little Nightmares 2 Enhanced Edition, Bandai Namco Games has announced. Existing owners of the spooky sequel can download the update free now, offering a range of extra features for new consoles and PC.
First off, Little Nightmares 2 Enhanced Edition supports sumptuous ray-traced reflections, adding greater detail to the environments as shiny surfaces give off live reflections. Meanwhile, Volumetric Shadows have also been added, soaking objects in more depth and detail than before.
In addition, console players can plump for Beauty Mode or Performance Mode depending on their preference. Beauty Mode sees Little Nightmares 2 running at 4K resolution at 30 FPS, while Performance Mode is locked to 60 FPS and dynamic resolution up to 4K. Rounding things off are immersive audio and interactive particles.
