Dying Light 2 developer Techland has revealed in a huge Q&A with WCCFTech that the game will include Performance and Quality modes, allow players to enjoy features such as ray-tracing, 60 FPS and 4K resolution depending on their preference.
Techland’s rendering director,Tomasz SzaĆkowski, had the following to say about the game’s performance on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S when asked if there will be specific modes to choose from:
Yes. We plan to allow you to choose: Quality (including ray tracing), Performance (60+ FPS), and 4K. As we are working hard on performance, I cannot provide more details at this point. We try to cram as much as possible onto the next- gens.
Dying Light 2 is currently in production for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, and will launch at some point in 2021. We haven’t seen much on the game lately apart from a brief gameplay clip, but we’ll take what we can get right now.
