BlueTwelve Studio has been posting a few snippets of work-in-progress gameplay for its upcoming PS5 game Stray, which was announced at the PS5 Reveal Event two weeks ago.
The new gameplay comes from the Stray DevBlog, which has multiple gifs of the titular stray cat exploring this robot-filled world, without a human in sight. The gameplay isn’t high quality, as it has been compressed down into gifs.
But, it does give us a good idea of what to expect. And, even in these small GIFs the game looks really vibrant with some gorgeous colors and unique environments. We can’t wait to see how it looks running on PS5 with ray-tracing and utilising all the power the console has to offer. There is also a small gameplay clip (that is quite blurry) which showcases the playable cat climbing up ventilation systems and pipes.
Stray was one of the indie titles announced at the PS5 reveal and it quickly caught people’s attention’s because, well, you play as a cat. The game is being published by the fantastic Annapurna Interactive who have quite literally never put out a bad game, so we think Stray may indeed be something special for PS5 owners.
Stray releases for PS5 in 2021.
