Paradox Interactive has revealed that Cara Ellison, the senior narrative designer for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, has departed developer Hardsuit Labs. No reason was given for her departure, but Ellison has notably removed references to the project on her Twitter profile.

Here’s the statement from Paradox:
We can confirm that Cara Ellison has decided to leave Hardsuit Labs and is no longer working on Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. Cara brought fresh ideas to the project and many of her contributions will be present in the game launching next year. We thank her for her work on Bloodlines 2 and wish her the best in all of her future endeavors.
It could be that Ellison’s work on the project has been completed, although given that the game was pushed back to 2021, this may suggest otherwise. Back in August, the game’s narrative designer and creative director both departed Hardsuit Labs.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is due out in 2021 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.
