Sony Interactive Entertainment has pulled the plug on the annual PS Now subscription on the PlayStation Store, wth only the monthly option available to purchase.
Previously, users were able to snap up at year’s PS Now membership for $59.99, although now you are only able to select the $8.99 monthly option. In case you missed it, PS Now is being assimilated into the new PlayStation Plus this summer, so it won’t be available as a separate purchase much longer.
PS Now has been knocking about since 2014 and initially allowed users to stream a number of games for the PS4, although Sony later allow you to directly download titles to your system.

The new PS Plus service will come in three different tires, with the most expensive one being the Premium tier, which includes PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP, PS4, and PS5 games. However, it’s recently been suggested that Sony is working on proper PS3 emulation for the PS5.
