Casey Hudson and Mark Darrah, two veterans of BioWare who have worked on everything from Dragon Age to Mass Effect to Anthem, have announced that they are both leaving Bioware.
Casey Hudson only recently came back to set Anthem on track for its original launch and Mark Darrah seemingly moved to Dragon Age 4 development once Anthem shipped. In a blog post from BioWare they highlight that the next generation of the studio are leading it forward on development of Dragon Age 4 and the next Mass Effect game.

Christian Dailey, who was brought on to develop Anthem 2.0 has now been shifted to Dragon Age 4 development and is leading that, whilst Mike Gamble is working on the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition and the next game in the franchise. There is no word on what is happening with Anthem 2.0.
The future of BioWare is looking shaky with notable departures over the years and the exit of both Casey and Mark are abrupt and seem like there is a lot more going on than we are hearing about. BioWare has had a rocky decade and it looks like that is set to continue one again in the 2020s. Once we know more about this development and the new general manager of BioWare, we will be sure to update you.
