Bioware Geth Mass Effect Mass Effect 4 News PS5

New Mass Effect 5 Artwork Revealed For N7 Day, Points To Geth Return

BioWare has unveiled a fresh piece of Mass Effect 5 artwork as part of its annual N7 Day celebration, which seems to hint at the return of the Geth.

The Geth were heavily featured in the original Mass Effect trilogy as the mechanical race that served as one of the primary antagonists in Commander Shepard’s galaxy-wide adventure. That’s about all we got, although the new Mass Effect is still in the early stages of production, so it’s understandable at this point.

Check out the new Mass Effect 4 artwork below. Technically the game is the fifth Mass Effect game, but Mass Effect: Andromeda didn’t have a number in its title, so some folk like to call it Mass Effect 4. Regardless, the game’s official title hasn’t been confirmed yet.

The new Mass Effect game is currently in production and is without a release date, but will presumably be coming to PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. BioWare remastered the original trilogy earlier this year in the shape of the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition.
