Thymesia is now coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, developer OverBorder Studio has announced, and will now launched in 2022 instead of its previously-confirmed 2021 window.
The company announced the delay in a statement today, which we’ve included below:
Together with our publisher Team17, we had made the difficult decision to delay the launch of Thymesia into 2022. As a community you have been so amazing in your support, and we know this will come as a disappointment to many, but our goal is to release Thymesia in the best possible state, and to do this, we need a little longer to work on the finishing touches.

Thymesia take place a kingdom infested with chaos and monster-filled streets, having fallen from grace after its inhabitants attempted to stop the use of alchemy — something which once powered the thriving kingdom. Players are able to grasp the Plague from bosses and wield its powers against them, while your powers allows you to transform into Raven during battle, lobbing feathers like daggers at your foes.
Meanwhile, players can upgrade and modify basic movements and plague weapons to shape your own play style, while recovering your memories through your adventures.
