Forspoken is pencilled in for release on October 11, 2022 for PS5 and PC, having been delayed from its original date of May 24. The ESRB recently posted up a listing for the game, which confirmed that it will feature microtransactions.
Elsewhere, the game’s creative producer, Raio Mitsuno, revealed to Game Informer that the development team are taking on board feedback, and also touched base on concerns about the game’s dialogue and its frequency.
Those kinds of things we’re looking at in terms of fine-tuning the frequency, making sure that it’s not to the point where it feels overwhelming, but we want to make sure it’s timed nicely.
Mitsuno added that the team is taking care to strike a balance “where it doesn’t feel like there’s too much silence when you’re playing out in the vast world.”
