The studio behind Predator: Hunting Grounds is developing a new co-op first person shooter titled Arcadegeddon, the news of which just leaked after the game was rated for PS5 by Korea and Taiwan.
The news for Illfonic’s new game came via Gematsu, who tweeted out the news of the rating. The notable absence of PS4 on both of these ratings seems to suggest it will be a PS5 exclusive, though we’ll know for sure when the official announcement comes out.
It’s likely that we’ll see our first reveal of this tomorrow, during Sony’s July 2021 State of Play, though for now all we’ve seen of this is the logo, which was pictured on the rating listing for Taiwan.
The Taiwan rating includes a description for the game, as it seems to follow a character named Gilly, the owner of an arcade trying to save his business. It is also described as “ever-evolving multiplayer shooter” which will allow you and as many as three other players explore different biomes and experience different types of gameplay within mini games. It’ll also have a mixture of PvE and PvP combat.
