There’s a number of games that could be potentially showcased during The Game Awards 2021. One is obviously the brand new Sonic game that’s coming out in 2022, which is rumored to be titled Sonic Frontiers.
This is the next big 3D game from the Blue Blur, and was teased earlier in the year as part of Sonic’s 30th Anniversary celebrations.
Other than that, we have the Sonic Origins Collection, which is set to arrive next year also and includes the classic Sega Genesis/Mega Drive games for modern platforms. Presumably they will feature some sort of visual enhancements, but we haven’t seen anything on them yet.
The Game Awards 2021 takes place on Thursday evening, or if you’re in the UK, the early hours of Friday morning.
