Resident Evil: Re:Verse, the new multiplayer spin-off of everyone’s favourite boulder-punching series, has been rated for Google Stadia in Europe, prompting speculation that a release on all platforms could be on the horizon following its lengthy delay.

Having initially been set for a 2021 release and in development between Capcom and Resident Evil: Resistance developer NeoBards, the 4-to-6 player online title has dropped off the face of the earth following a string of unsuccessful public betas in early 2021 and a subsequent delay into the nondescript placeholder of ‘’2022′.

PEGI, the European Ratings Board, previouslyhad rated the console versions of the game in May of last year, prior to the delay in July and now has updated its listing as of May 7 to include the Google Stadia version of the game.

Moreover, noted Resident Evil insider Dusk Golem has recently commented on the listing mentioning that news of the game will be appearing ‘’very soon”.

It looks like we haven’t got long to wait, but let’s hope that the Resident Evil Village DLC isn’t far behind.
