Activision plans on lifting the lid on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II in early June, according to a pair of prominent industry leakers.
First up, Tom Henderson, who is a reliable source when it comes to all things Battlefield and Call of Duty, has heard from sources that Modern Warfare II see a trailer featuring campaign footage. This will be followed by a gameplay trailer βat an event when E3 was meant to be,β which points the finger at Summer Games Fest 2022.
Getting a little more specific, fellow Call of Duty leaker TheGhostofHope claims the military shooter will be unveiled via a trailer on June 2. Obviously, none of this has been confirmed, but given the sources here, it has a good chance at happening.

Activision officially confirmed long-standing rumors that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will be this year’s entry in the franchise last month. The game will serve as a direct sequel to 2019’s Modern Warfare reboot, and is reportedly set to feature Captain Price battling against drug cartels.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will be released in late 2022, presumably for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
