Speaking during an interview with the BBC, Chernobyl creator Craig Mazin revealed that the upcoming The Last of Us HBO series will feature a ‘jaw drop’ moment that was cut from Naughty Dog’s 2013 post-apocalyptic title.
The Last Of Us HBO Series Teases Jaw Drop Moment
We’re creating new [things] and re-imagining what is already there to present it for a different format. Our goal is not to keep you in love with The Last of Us, but to make you fall in love with it again in a different way. It’s a passive way of taking it in, instead of playing it, but you’ll be experiencing more, with more characters in more ways.
Jaw drop – that’s going in. For sure, we have to do that. You couldn’t stop me doing that. You will have to shoot me [to stop me] from doing that. And there were a few things like that.
Not much else is known about The Last of Us HBO series, but the creators have said that it will enhance the source material.
